    I’ll admit that, when I need a break from writing, I enjoy perusing some of the Nikki Heat fan sites. So imagine my surprise when someone posted a picture of me in Paris. It’s an honor to be identified by a Parisian who’s read my books, especially when I’ve never had the opportunity to do publicity there. I figured it’s time to come clean: yours truly interviewed to ghost write the memoire of a certain famous French politician. I can’t tell you his name, but let’s just say that his wife is stunning.

    Revenge is like ice cream for our lactose intolerant souls. We want it so bad, but it tears us apart inside. I find it is one of the hardest motivations to write about. Perhaps nowhere else does human emotion resist the categorization of black and white so strongly. Revenge shines with a muted, indeterminable gray.

  • Sick Day Survival Guide

    If you intend to write as many novels as I have, you must master the art of efficiency. Admittedly, my ability to write while sleeping needs more work, but I do succeed in spending nearly all of my waking hours either writing or in some other creative pursuit.

    However, when I fall ill, as my fair Alexis recently did, I come dangerously close to falling off of the productivity wagon. So, to ensure that I waste no time shivering and blowing my nose, I put together a sick day survival guide, which allows me to expand my creative horizons, even as my body slowly deteriorates.
